What is BS 470 - Pressure vessels specification about?
BS 470 is a British standard that specifies requirements for the provision and dimensions of sight hole, handhole, head hole, and manhole openings into static and mobile pressure vessels requiring inspection facilities. BS 470 does not include openings for steam-raising plants because of the different problems associated with these vessels, which may require separate consideration.
