Abstract
What is BS 4993-3 - Silica content of aluminum fluoride about?
BS 4993 discusses methods of testing for aluminum fluoride for industrial use. BS 4993-3 is the third part of the BS 4993 multi-series and discusses the determination of silica content. BS 4993-3 is applicable when the P2O5 content does not exceed 0.02%. A method for the determination of silica when P2O5 is greater than 0.02% is present and is in course of preparation.
