Abstract
What is BS 6068-2.37 — Physical, chemical, and biochemical methods about? BS 6068-2.37 is the 37 th section of the multi-series standard that specifies methods and procedures for the determination of chloride via silver nitrate titration which chromate indicator. BS 6068-2.37 specifies a titration method for the determination of dissolved chloride in water. The method described in BS 6068-2.37 is applicable to the direct determination of dissolved chloride in concentrations between 5 mg/l and 150 mg/l. The working range may be extended to 400 mg/l by using a burette of larger capacity or by sample dilution. Due to many interferences, the method is not applicable to heavily polluted waters of low chloride content.
Who is BS 6068-2.37 — Physical, chemical, and biochemical methods for? BS 6068-2.37 on the Physical, chemical and biochemical methods are useful for:
Wastewater collecting systems Wastewater treatment plants Plants treating industrial wastewater Water supply treatment plants
Why should you use BS 6068-2.37 — Physical, chemical, and biochemical methods ? For the Mohr Method, silver nitrate is used for titration (normality: 0.0141) w...
