BS 6468:2008 Specification for depth micrometers BS 6468:2008  specifies requirements for spindle type S and rod type R depth micrometers with a micrometer traverse of 25 mm or 1 in, covering measuring capacities from 0 to 300 mm, or 1 in to 12 in. BS 6468 gives normative references  and terms and definitions. Design features, accuracy, amd marking are also specified. Annexes specifying methods of test and giving advice on use are also provided. BS 6468:2008 supersedes BS 6468:1984, which is withdrawn.
