BS 6972 is a British Standard which specifies requirements for luminaire supporting couplers (LSCs) comprising LSC plugs and LSC outlets for use in final circuits. The requirements specified in BS 6972 have particular reference to safety in normal use. BS 6972 is applicable to LSCs intended for either:
