BS 7020-16 specifies a flame atomic absorption spectrometric method for the determination of nickel and/or chromium contents of iron ores. This method is applicable to nickel and/or chromium contents between 0,003 % ( m / m ) and 0,1 % ( m / m )1) in natural iron ores, iron ore concentrates and agglomerates, including sinter products.
