Abstract
1 Scope This British Standard specifies requirements for solid and stranded circular conductors for overhead power transmission systems and overhead electric traction systems. It specifies the requirements for material composition, dimensions, mechanical properties, electrical resistance, stranding, and other characteristics for hard-drawn high conductivity copper and copper alloy conductors.
NOTE Guidance on information that should be supplied by the purchaser is given in Annex A.
