1   Scope This standard gives guidance for identifying and investigating spillage, leakage or build-up of combustion products from gas-fired appliances in non-domestic premises . It gives recommendations for determining the combustion performance of such equipment, using electronic portable combustion gas analysers . This involves sampling and measuring the carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) in the ambient air and in gas-fired appliance chimneys . This standard is for use with equipment using 1st, 2nd or 3rd family gases.
