BS 799 is a European Standard series that discusses oil burning equipment. The purpose of BS 799 series is to provide best industry requirements for the safe and reliable operation of vaporizing burners. BS 799-2 is the second part of the BS 799 series that specifies requirements for oil vaporizing burners and associated equipment for boilers, heaters, furnaces, ovens, and other similar static flued plant such as free-standing space heating appliances for single family dwellings.
