What is BS EN 12850 - pH value of bituminous emulsions about?
Bitumen is an essential component of paving and is used widely throughout the world. BS EN 12850 is a European Standard that discusses bitumen and bituminous binders. BS EN 12850 provides entities in the construction industry with best industry practices for the preparation of test samples for accurate analysis of the quality and performance of bituminous binders. BS EN 12850 specifies a method for measuring the pH value of bituminous emulsions. BS EN 12850 is applicable to anionic, cationic bituminous emulsions and bituminous emulsions prepared by means of a non-ionic surfactant.
