Abstract
What is BS EN 13237 - Potentially explosive atmospheres about?

BS EN 13237 describes the vocabulary to be used to give all standards in this area an overall uniformity of terminology. Throughout BS EN 13237 the only hazard considered is the explosion of an explosive atmosphere. BS EN 13237 specifies terms, and definitions (vocabulary) to be used in suitable standards dealing with equipment, and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
