Abstract
What is BS EN 4811 - 4 holes gasket seal on aluminium plate about? The flange coupling is a driving coupling placed between rotating shafts. These shafts comprise a flange fixed on each shaft end and are held and bolted together using a ring of bolts that complete the drive. A gaskets seal is a connection between two components or flanges that have flat surfaces. BS EN 4811 specifies the characteristics of gasket seal with fluorocarbon seal on aluminium plate, 4 holes, for pipe couplings for inch series aerospace applications. BS EN 4811 determines the nominal pressure to be up to 21 000 kPa, depending on associated seal, tube material, tube diameter, and tube wall thickness in the assembly which can be seen in EN 4814
