What is BS EN 50615 – Particular requirements for devices for fire prevention and suppression for cooktops about ?
Kitchens and electric appliances in the household are prone to fire or short circuits at any time. The safety requirements need to be studied for a safer surrounding. BS EN 50615 has been prepared to provide a means of conforming to essential safety requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC. Other requirements and other EU Directives may apply to the devices within the scope of BS EN 50615 . BS EN 50615 applies in conjunction with EN 60335-1:2012
