What is BS EN 60156 - Insulating liquids about?
BS EN 60156 is a British Standard for insulating liquids. BS EN 60156 guideline specifies the method for determining the dielectric breakdown voltage of insulating liquids at power frequency. BS EN 60156 guidelines outlines about the basis for a quantitative statement of the suitability of such materials for radiation environments and therefore provides a guide for material specifications and for procurement agreements between suppliers and users. BS EN 60156 provides method regarding all types of insulating liquids of nominal viscosity up to 350 mm2s–1 at 40 °C.
