Injector/extractor handles are popular in telecom applications for inserting and removing connectors with a large number of pins. IEC 60297 defines the standard dimensions of mechanical structures of 482,6 mm (19 in) series. BS EN 60297-3-102 covers the additional interface dimensions for injector/extractor devices used with sub-racks and plug-in units according to IEC 60297-3-101 . Note: BS EN 60297-3-102 may be used in conjunction with IEC 60297-3-103 .
