BS EN 60318 is a European standard on electroacoustics that discusses the simulators of the human head and ear to improve the acoustical performance of insert earphones. BS EN 60318-4 is the fourth part of the BS EN 60318 series that describes an occluded-ear simulator intended for the measurement of insert earphones in the frequency range from 100 Hz to 10 000 Hz.
