What is BS EN 61000-2-10 - HEMP environment about?
BS EN 61000-2-10 is an international standard that focuses on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of the HEMP environment . BS EN 61000-2-10 defines the high-altitude electromagnetic pulse (HEMP) conducted environment that is one of the consequences of a high-altitude nuclear explosion. BS EN 61000-2-10 presents the conducted HEMP environment, induced on metallic lines, such as cables or power lines, external and internal to the installations, and external antennas.
