Abstract
What is BS EN 61010-2-032 - Safety requirements for current sensors about?
BS EN 61010-2-032 is a standard that serves safety requirements for current sensors, ensuring protection against electric shocks and prevention of short-circuits. BS EN 61010-2-032 specifies safety requirements for hand-held and hand-manipulated current sensors. The current sensors covered in BS EN 61010-2-032 are used for measuring, detecting or injecting current, or indicating current waveforms on circuits without physically opening the current path of the circuit being measured. In BS EN 61010-2-032 , the requirements for protection against hazards resulting from normal use and reasonably foreseeable misuse of measuring circuits are given in Clause 101.
