What is BS EN 61076-4-114 – Two-part printed board connector about?
Electrical connectors are used to join electrical conductors to create an electrical circuit. BS EN 61076-4-114 contains modular two-part connectors with an integrated shielded function having a grid of 1 mm × 1.5 mm by IEC 60917-1. BS EN 61076-4-114 specifies dimensions of free connectors with male contacts, dimensions of fixed connectors with female contacts, mating information, gauges for testing “probe damage” and “retention force”, characteristics, voltage proof, current-carrying capacity, creepage distance, clearance distance, climatic group, etc. for printed board connectors.
