What is BS EN 61169-35 - Radio-frequency connectors about?
BS EN 61169 is a series on radio-frequency connectors. A Radio-frequency connector is an electrical connector designed to work at radio frequencies in the multi-megahertz range. BS EN 61169-35 provides information and rules for the preparation of detailed specification of 2,92 series RF coaxial connectors together with the Pro-forma blank detail specification. BS EN 61169-35 also prescribes mating face dimensions for high-performance connectors - grade 1, dimensional detail of standard test connectors - Grade 0, gauging information and tests selected from IEC 61169-1 applicable to all detail specifications relating to 2,92 series RF coaxial connectors. BS EN 61169-35 indicates recommended performance characteristics to be considered when writing a detailed specification and it covers test schedules and inspection requirements for assessment levels M and H.
