Abstract
What is BS EN 61338-2 – Guidelines for oscillator and filter applications about?
BS EN 61338-2 is the second part of an international standard that focuses on applications of waveguide type dielectric resonators. BS EN 61338-2 contains guidelines for use and is limited to the waveguide type dielectric resonators that are used for oscillator and filter applications. These types of resonators are now widely used in oscillators for direct broadcasting or communication satellite systems, oscillators for radio links, voltage-controlled oscillators for mobile communication systems, and so on. BS EN 61338-2 also applies to the dielectric resonators that are used as an essential component of miniaturized filters for the same kind of applications.
