What is BS EN 62282-4-102 -Industrial electric trucks ?
The EN 62282 is a European Standard series that covers various aspects of fuel cell technologies. The main objective of EN 62282 is to improve the performance and safety of fuel cell power systems. BS EN 62282-4-102 is one of the parts of the series that covers performance test methods of fuel cell power systems intended to be used for electrically powered industrial trucks. The scope of BS EN 62282-4-102 is limited to electrically powered industrial trucks. Hybrid trucks that include an internal combustion engine are not included in the scope. The scope of this standard will be applicable to material-handling equipment, e.g. forklifts. BS EN 62282-4-102 applies to gaseous hydrogen-fuelled fuel cell power systems and direct methanol fuel cell power systems for electrically powered industrial trucks. Gaseous hydrogen and methanol fuels are considered within the scope of BS EN 62282-4-102 Note: BS EN 62282-4-102 does not apply to reformer-equipped fuel cell power systems.
