What is BS EN 62489-2 - Audio-frequency induction loop systems about?
BS EN 62489-2 is the second part of an international multi-series standard that covers the uses of electroacoustics for various purposes. BS EN 62489-2 applies to audio-frequency induction-loop systems for assisted hearing. BS EN 62489-2 may also be applied to such systems used for other purposes, as far as it is applicable. BS EN 62489-2 is intended for the assessment of human exposure to low-frequency magnetic fields produced by the system, by calculation, and by in-situ testing.
