ISO 18314 discusses analytical colorimetry. A colorimetric analysis is the technique normally used to determine the concentration of the analyte by comparing the colour changes of the solution. ISO 18314-2 is the second part of ISO 18314 multi-series and discusses Saunderson correction solutions of the Kubelka-Munk equation. The Kubelka Munk theory has turned out to be the most used theory for describing light scattering and absorption in paper, paint, and plastic, because of its simple form and ease of use.
