ISO 662 is an international standard that discusses the determination of moisture and volatile matter in animal and vegetable fats and oils to ensure reducing the effect of moisture and volatile matter on the quality of fats and oils. ISO 662 specifies two methods for the determination, by drying, of the moisture and volatile matter content of animal or vegetable fats and oils:
