1   Scope This document specifies the architecture of an enterprise canonical model. It defines the abstract model, conceptual model and physical model. This document is applicable to organizations implementing an enterprise-wide interoperability capability. Some implementers can find it useful in more targeted applications (e.g. departmental interoperability, projects).
