What is ISO 7870-9 about?

ISO 7870-9 is part nine of a multi-series standard that covers control charts for stationary processes which enables identify process changes over time to enhance performance through data driven decision making process. ISO 7870-9 describes the construction and applications of control charts for stationary processes. The aim of ISO 7870-9 is to outline the major process control charts for monitoring both the processes mean and the process variance when the process is autocorrelated.
