1   Scope This part of ISO 8370 specifies a dynamic method of determining the location of the pitch zone of a Vribbed-belt, which is expressed as an effective line differential b e (see figure 1).

NOTE 1 If a high precision is not required, nominal values for the pitch zone positions given in ISO 9981 and ISO 9982 may be used.
