Abstract
What is ISO 9154 – Nickel alloy bolts for aerospace about?
Aerospace components are exposed to extreme conditions. Materials used for aerospace components need to have the ability to withstand extreme temperatures without damage. Nickel-based alloys are known for their excellent corrosion resistance and strength. They are suitable for high-temperature environments due to their superior heat resistance. ISO 9154 specifies the characteristics and quality assurance requirements for MJ threads bolts made of heat-resisting nickel-base alloy, of strength class 1 550 MPa, for aerospace construction. ISO 9154 is applicable whenever it is referenced in a definition document.
