What is BS EN 12085 - Linear dimensions of thermal insulating products about?
BS EN 12085 is the European standard on thermal insulating products for building applications. The main aim of BS EN 12085 is to provide manufacturers with best industry practices to demonstrate the performance of thermal insulation products, such that they are fit for its intended use. It specifies the characteristics and choice of measuring equipment and the procedure for determining the linear dimensions of test specimens that are taken from thermal insulating products. The procedures for measuring the dimensions of full-size products are specified in BS EN 822 and BS EN 823 .
