Abstract
What is BS EN 50708-1-2 about?
BS EN 50708-1-2 is part one and two of a multi-series standard. BS EN 50708-1-2 defines the rules for assessment of energy performance of power transformers. It talks about the additional requirements needed for a transformer as per European standards.
BS EN 50708-1-2 applies to all power transformers in the scope of TC 14.
NOTE 1: BS EN 50708-1-2 contains particular requirements for specific transformers or transformer applications, which are based on the requirements of the general EN 50708-1-1:2020 .
