BS EN IEC 60684 is an international standard that discusses flexible insulating sleeving for electrical purposes. The main objective of the BS EN IEC 60684 series is to ensure that the insulating sleeving manufactured offers required level of electrical resistance.
BS EN IEC 60684-3-216 gives requirements for four types of heat-shrinkable, flame-retarded, limited-fire-hazard sleeving with a thermal endurance rating of 105 °C as shown below.
