BS EN IEC 60974-3 is one of the parts of a series of documents that specifies safety requirements for industrial and professional arc striking and stabilizing devices used in arc welding and allied processes. BS EN IEC 60974 ‑ 3 is applicable to arc striking and stabilizing devices which are stand-alone (Separate from the welding equipment) or built in (housed in a single enclosure with another arc welding equipment). Note: BS EN IEC 60974 ‑ 3 does not include electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements.
