The International Standard IEC 61131 series describes programmable logic controllers (PLCs). The PLC open eXtensible Markup Language (XML) specification has become an integral part of the IEC 61131 specifications, as IEC 61131-10 . BS EN IEC 61131-10 specifies a solution independent XML-based exchange format to be supported by interfaces of different kinds of software tools. BS EN IEC 61131-10 specifies an XML-based exchange format for the export and import of IEC 6 1131-3 projects.
