BS EN IEC 63093 is an international standard that discusses ferrite cores. The main objective of the BS EN IEC 63093 series is to ensure ferrite cores meet the required quality and performance levels so as to effectively avoid electromagnetic interference.
BS EN IEC 63093-12 is the 12th part of the multi-series specifies the dimensions that are of importance for mechanical interchangeability for a preferred range of ring-cores, also called toroid cores, and the effective parameter values to be used in calculations involving them. It also gives guidelines on allowable limits of surface irregularities applicable to ring cores.
