BS EN IEC 63159 discusses household electric instantaneous water heaters. BS EN IEC 63159‑2‑2 is the second part of BS EN IEC 63159 multi-series and discusses the methods for measuring the performance. BS EN IEC 63159‑2‑2 applies to open outlet, single point-of-use, electric instantaneous water heaters intended for household or similar use, for showering purposes without downstream mixing. Note: BS EN IEC 63159‑2‑2 does not apply to electrical instantaneous water heaters covered by other parts of this series of standards.
