What is ISO 11427 – Determination of silver in silver jewellery alloys using potassium bromide about ?
Silver is one of the rare and costly metals found on earth. Apart from high-rate conductivity silver is a premium metal for ornament production purposes.
ISO 11427 describes a volumetric method for the determination of silver in jewellery alloys, preferably within the range of fineness stated in ISO 9202. This method is intended to be used as the referee method for the determination of fineness in alloys covered by ISO 9202.
