Abstract
What is ISO 3377-2 – Determination of double edge tear in leather about?
ISO 3377-2 is part two of the multi-series international standard that focuses on the physical and mechanical tests of leather for the determination of tear load in leather. ISO 3377-2 specifies a method for determining the tear strength of leather using a double-edged tear. The method is sometimes described as the Baumann tear. ISO 3377-2 is applicable to all types of leather.
