What is ISO 9693 - Compatibility testing of metal-ceramic and ceramic-ceramic systems about?
ISO 9693 discusses dentistry. ISO 9693 is an international standard that provides for compatibility testing of metal-ceramic and ceramic-ceramic systems in dentistry. ISO 9693 layouts requirements and test methods to assess the thermomechanical compatibility between a veneering ceramic and a metallic or ceramic substructure material used for dental restorations. ISO 9693 applies only to the materials used in combination. Note: Conformity cannot be claimed for a single material under ISO 9693.
