Abstract
1 Scope This document defines terms for levels of automation and autonomy (LAA), thereby establishing the taxonomy describing the levels of automation and autonomy (LAA). This document does not provide specifications or requirements on automated operating systems defined herein. This document applies to earth-moving machinery (EMM) as defined in ISO 6165 [1] .
