Overview
EN ISO 10873:2026 sets out standardized requirements for denture adhesives used by wearers of removable dentures. Developed by CEN and ISO Technical Committee 106/SC 7 (Dentistry), this international standard provides a comprehensive framework for the classification, testing, and labeling of denture adhesives meant for direct consumer use. The standard excludes dental lining materials prescribed or applied by dental professionals. By harmonizing product requirements and test methods, EN aims to improve user safety, product effectiveness, and market consistency for denture adhesive products.
