Overview
IEC 61029-2-10:1998 is the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) safety standard for transportable motor‑operated cutting‑off grinders used primarily for cutting metal. It is a Part 2 (particular requirements) document to be used in conjunction with IEC 61029-1 and covers cutting‑off grinders that use a plain abrasive cutting‑off wheel with a diameter up to 406 mm and a rated peripheral speed not exceeding 80 m/s.
