Abstract

Overview

IEC 62769-101-1:2020 defines the Field Device Integration (FDI) profile for FOUNDATION™ Fieldbus H1 (IEC 61784 CP 1/1). The standard specifies how FDI packages, device descriptions and communication profiles map to FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1 devices and networks so that tools (FDI Communication Servers, gateways, engineering systems) can discover, communicate with and manage H1 field devices in a consistent, interoperable way.
