Abstract
Overview
ISO 1014-2:2025 - "Coke - Part 2: Determination of true relative density" specifies a laboratory method to determine the true relative density of coke (relative to water). The procedure uses a 50 ml pycnometer and distilled water, with air removed by boiling, to measure the volume displaced by a known mass of dry, ground coke (212 µm top size). Results are reported to 0.01 (dimensionless). The document is intended for quality control and analytical laboratories working with coke and related products.
