Overview
ISO 10303-207:1999 is Part 207 of the ISO 10303 (STEP) family: an application protocol for sheet metal die planning and design. Published 1999 (corrected 2001), it defines the product data representation and exchange constructs needed to capture die geometry, process plans, tooling, and related lifecycle information for sheet metal forming dies. The standard specifies information requirements, application objects and assertions, an application interpreted model (AIM), and conformance rules to enable consistent CAD/CAM/PLM data exchange in die engineering and manufacturing.
