ISO 10423:2022

Overview

ISO 10423:2022 - Petroleum and natural gas industries - Drilling and production equipment - Wellhead and tree equipment - is the fifth edition (2022) international standard that specifies requirements and gives recommendations for the performance, dimensional and functional interchangeability, design, materials, testing, inspection, welding, marking, handling, storing, shipment, and purchasing of wellhead and tree equipment. ISO 10423:2022 supplements API Spec 6A (21st edition, 2018) and updates/clarifies additional requirements specific to wellheads, Christmas trees and related components used in petroleum and natural gas industries.

Note: ISO 10423:2022 does not apply to field use or field testing, repair (except weld repair in manufacturing), or installation/service tools (e.g., running tools, wash tools, lubricators).
