Abstract
Overview
ISO 10466:2021 specifies a standardized test method for proving the resistance of glass‑reinforced thermosetting plastics (GRP) pipes to initial ring deflection. The method determines whether GRP pipe rings can withstand specified levels of diametral (ring) compression without surface damage or structural failure. This second edition updates and replaces ISO 10466:1997 and is intended for use where a referring standard sets the deflection limits, test-piece dimensions, test temperature and acceptance criteria.
