Overview

ISO 1082:1990 - "Mining - Shackle type connector units for chain conveyors" specifies requirements for shackle-type connector units used in mining chain conveyor assemblies. This second edition replaces the 1984 edition and defines the connector components (shackle, connector bolt, connector nut), material and heat-treatment criteria, dimensional compatibility with chains and scraper bars, and test and inspection procedures.
