ISO 11082:1992

Overview

ISO 11082:1992 defines a certification scheme for welded fabric (welded wire mesh) used as passive reinforcement in concrete structures. Intended for continuous production, the standard sets out the rules and procedures for demonstrating product conformity to the product standard (notably ISO 6935-3). The scheme covers three main stages: suitability testing, internal inspection by the manufacturer, and inspection and supervision by an external body.

• External control and surveillance: Independent external inspection at intervals up to 6 months, including parallel testing (manufacturer vs external body) on representative sheets and corrective measures when nonconformities are found (warnings, intensified testing, production changes, withdrawal of approval).
• Certification outcome: On satisfactory results a factory symbol and producer approval/license are issued; continued compliance is monitored.
