Abstract
Overview
ISO 11410:2021, titled Leather - Guidelines for packaging of wet blue leather, is an international standard developed by ISO Technical Committee ISO/TC 120, Subcommittee SC 2, focused on tanned leather. This second edition provides comprehensive guidance and defines requirements for properly packaging wet blue leather intended for transport and storage. The standard applies specifically to wet blue leather sourced from goat skin, sheep skin, cow hide, and buffalo hide. Its goal is to ensure that wet blue leather maintains quality, moisture content, and shape during handling, transit, and storage.
